We are so blessed with such beautiful weather that nature is able to take full advantage of it after a long winter.

Everything is blooming and this is a time to celebrate and honor our cycles of nature and time that we all share on Mother Earth.

Since her day is May 1st and Halloween in the Czech Republic falls on April 30th, May is very much symbolised by the "Burning of Witches", but in reality it is a celebration of the Magical Love that our Mother Earth creates and it is time to look at it from a different angle and learn to celebrate it. It is a holiday of the Gallic Spring known among others as Beltain-Bell Fire – it is a sacred time of CONNECTION and honour SEEDS FOR GROWTH AND HARVEST…¨On this day it is a time to synchronise with Mother Earth Pachamama - Reawakening is welcomed with open arms.

It is time to revitalise our selves, our bodies, minds, spirits, and relationships with Mother Nature and the Divine through vibrant customs and rituals.

For the fertility of this land and our bodies for all good and happiness for all beings. I welcome you Spirit of generous infinite love, abundance. Let us awaken to beauty!

Here are ways WE can connect with the spirit of Beltain:

* Wash your face with the dew of the morning grass, it will bring blessings.

* Make a small bunch of flowers from a small tree or branch of hawthorn, rowan, holly, birch decorated with flowers and ribbons. Make flower crowns and crown a May King and Queen. Or wear flower ribbons in your hair.

* Build a small fire, light a candle, invite family or friends to a campfire.

* Cleanse yourself with cedar sage or make your own smudge.

* Fairies who dance and mischief - welcome this Spirit into your life, honor the May Fairy to bring a small offering /dance, song or bunch of flowers/

* Revelry and May Dance. The origin of the Maypole is uncertain, but the tradition is thought to have begun around 2,000 years ago in Roman Britain and is now celebrated around the world. You can make a full-sized or mini Maypole for your altar.

* Make a May Altar Decorate a Beltane altar to honor the Sacred Feminine with a Goddess Ritual

* Along with the season, celebrating fertility also means celebrating your mother so honor Mother's Day.

* Have a handfasting ceremony in place of a wedding or as a recommitment ceremony.

* Frolic. Dance and be as silly and free as possible in nature.

* Eat something decadent and experience sensual pleasure.
